Mary Julia Middleton
Funeral services for Mary Julia Middleton of Eutaw were held at 3 p.m. March 4 at Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presby-terian Church with Rev. Bill Betts and Rev. Don Acton officiating.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presby-terian Church, retired owner of Middleton Eggs and a life-long resident of Greene County. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Franklin Middleton, four brothers and three sisters. She died March 3, 2006 at the age of 90 at Pickens County Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters Virginia (Irvin) Eatman, Elaine (Otis) Espey and Mary Earle Middleton, all of Eutaw; son Sidney Middleton, Birmingham; sister Lucy Somerville, Aliceville; grandchildren Greg Espey, David Middleton, Cheryl (David) May and Curt (Rebecca) Eatman; and great-grandchildren Emily Espey and Jacob Espey.
Pallbearers were Gerald "Zeke" Allen, Homer Carpenter, Jr., Larry Cotton, Dr. Emmett Gunnells, Kenny Jordan, Baker Smith and Billy Somerville.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. James Parker, nurses at Pickens County Medical Center and members of Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
