Burial Notes: This listing is indexed as Charles P. Coleman but Charles P. Coleman was a different individual, b. Halifax, NC Oct 1763; d. Greene, AL, Dec. 1850. Charles P. Coleman was also a NC Revolutionary War soldier, voluntarily entering service at age 17 in June, 1780 at Lincoln Co, NC. Charles Coleman, 1744-1824, and Charles P. Coleman, 1763-1850, both dying and buried in Greene, AL are often confused. They are possibly related, but are two different individuals.
