Walter E. Taylor Obituary
WALTER E. TAYLOR
Walter E. Taylor, age 64, died Sunday at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham,
after a short illness. His remains were brought to Eutaw and interred in Beulah
Cemetery, Rev. H. E. Davidson conducting the services.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife and six sons, Horace, Cecil, Eugene, Belton,
Robert, and Rhodes, and three daughters, Lovie, Irene, and Ruth and two grand
children.
Active pallbearers were Artis Cockrell, Perry Wilson, Esmer Wilson, Raymond
Henderson, Jake Chaney, and Charles Thomas Bambarger.
Honorary pallbearers were Judge L. H. Montgomery, Berry Ellis, Thornton
Chambers, Aubrey Durrett, Homer Carpenter, and Robert Carpenter.
IN MEMORY OF W. E. TAYLOR
On the 14th day of July, Mr. Taylor was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital
seriously ill. There he remained until the night of July 21st, about 12:45 the
death angel called by and carried him on where there would be no more pain or
sorrow.
Mr. Taylor left to mourn his death, his wife and nine children and two
grandchildren: Mrs. and Mrs. Morris Taylor and baby of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs.
Cecil Taylor of Dodson, La., Mr. and Mrs. Norman Walker and baby of York,
Lonnie, Eugene, Belton, Irene, Robert, and Rhodes of Union.
Note: “Lonnie” should read “Lovie.”
