Fannie E. King [Goodson] Will
The following is a transcription by Kimberly R. Jacobson from a copy of the

The State of Alabama
Greene County
In the name of God, Amen.
I, Fannie E. King, a resident citizen of Eutaw, Greene County, Alabama, and
over the age of twenty one years, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do
hereby make and publish this my last will and testament, revoking all former
wills which may have been made at any time heretofore.
FIRST: It is my will and I do hereby request that my Executors hereinafter
named shall pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my
decease as practicable.
SECOND: It is my will and I do hereby devise and bequeath unto my daughter
Onie King Ambrose all of my household and kitchen furniture of whatever kind and
nature, I may die seized and possessed, to be hers absolutely, or so much of
said household and kitchen furniture as my said daughter may select.
THIRD: It is my will that my Executors hereinafter named shall mark my grave
by erecting a suitable monument thereto.
FOURTH: It is my will and I do hereby bequeath to my children, namely,
Wheaton W. King, Clarence E. King; John Berry King; Joseph Hale King; and Onie
King Ambrose, all the rest and residue of my estate, real, personal and mixed,
of which I may die seized and possessed, or to which I may be entitled at the
time of my decease, share and share alike, to have and to hold absolutely.
FIFTH: I nominate and appoint my son John Berry King and Onie King Ambrose as
Executors of this my last will and testament, and declare that they shall not be
required to give any bond for the performance of their duties arising hereunder;
nor shall they be required to make any inventory of the property coming into
their hands as such executors nor make any report to any Court of their
proceedings hereunder.

Signed, Sealed and declared to be the last will and testament of Fannie E.
King, in our presence, and in the presence of each other as subscribing witness,
and at her request, have ehereunto set out hands on this the day the same bears
date.
