Havana Precinct #1
Havana was originally a part of Greene
County until 1867 when the precincts to the east of the Warrior
River became a part of Hale
County. Havana was founded by David Campbell, who came to the area
with his family and ran the first hotel to serve passengers on the
stagecoach route.
